M8777 is a single conductor Mil-Spec wire made from a soft annealed, silver-plated copper. It also has an extruded silicone rubber insulation. This construction adds extra conductivity. The MIL-W-8777 wire’s primary applications are those in missiles and aircraft. It has a temperature rating of 200 degrees Celsius as well as a voltage rating of 600 Volts. Additionally, there is a special cable that falls under the MIL-W-8777 SPEC called MS25471.
The MS25471 has the same exact ratings as the standard MIL-W-8777 but has an impregnated polyester braid jacket. It also has a standard impregnated glass braid that adds extra protection to the cable.
